Concept Cougar S

It was purely a concept awd 3.0ltr But the under bonnet states that it isn't road legal. The guy who owns it sent me these pictures he has quite a few concepts in his collection.

Dammit, they should've built it.

The C1 has that smooth, curvy, sassy 1960s coupe styling but also includes the modern "edge" design. Suited to the times, but even works well now.

The C2 is more "blocky", especially around its chin, which suited the way that design was going at the time. Seems this was led by Peter Stevens and his mates at other manufacturers. Just look at what he did for the MG-SV.

The Cougar.S is the natural progression. Aggressive, chunky, blatantly arrogant styling. Take a look at a modern Mustang and tell me that - even if you don't like it - the Cougar couldn't have followed the same path if it hadn't been a mis-sold Mercury product.

Then I wouldn't be sitting here with two 100,000+ mile cars wondering what the heck I'm going to buy when they eventually get too expensive to maintain.

Sorry for the rant - the whole thing just grinds my gears.

A good looking car. Thank heavens that steering-wheel never saw production though

$1b USD insurance, better not damage it, or Eritrea gets sold lol
