Hi all from a frozen East Anglia

Sorry if this is a mis post, it will not allow me to post in the problem forum for some reason.

Went out this morning and brushed off about 4 inches of snow. Started up and the coolant warning light is on. First time ever. Checked the level, all is fine and it is not frozen. Drove the car a few miles, all running fine and the temperature stays normal.

Anyone had a similar problem or have any ideas?

Thanks

they tend to stick and/or get a bit gunged up, give it a flick, also unplug and plug sensor in might be cold on cantacts, you need to subscribe to get to other pages and all the answers you need

Hi

Think you could be right-its gone off again now and all back to normal.

Like me, old and cantankerous!

Am a subscriber, but its still not having it. I'll have a play later.

Thanks

Mine does this, it was intermittant to start with but now it's always illuminated, of course, if it had it's original one on, then this wouldn't be happening, dave at autocrap.....bless his thieving little fat hands!!:LOL::LOL:
