Well thats my cat back in the garage for its mot keeping my fingers crossed should get it back tommorow, insurance is all sorted then just a quick run to post office friday.

When i took the cat out the garage my nosey neighbour was up at the window again propably wineing about the exhaust. Pay back time as it sounds much better than her kids using quads in her back garden

Another mot pass (y)

well pleased and thats with an mot insepector from vosa checking on the garage
from what i am told he done a visit this morning unanounced and the garage gets to pick a car that he tests in front of them and he done mine

so he needed to fit a cat which i new as i dont have any precats decat pipe already back on
needed one track rod end
and a small windscreen washer pipe needed replaced as it was not spraying enough water

advisorys was slight corosion on all metal break pipes

no idea about break pipes but when the boy dropped the car off says dont worry about it cars perfect car is 12/13 years old so to me some corosion is expected

any advise on break pipes cost etc much apreatiated

Probably the rear sections of brake pipe where they pass up the side of the fuel tank - they rust away. If caught early enough, a light wire brushing and a touch of grease will see them right. Otherwise it's replacement - you can use standard copper pipe for the job (y)
