Cougar S

Toffee. It's a bog standard 2.5 V6 and really not that powerful at 170bhp, coupled to an 80's technology Ford 4 speed slushbox and 2 wheel drive. Hardly an exact replica of the Cougar S... Even if it was, it's still not the real deal.

An MR2 in a Ferrari 355 bodykit is still an MR2 in a Ferrari 355 bodykit, except heavier and slower than a good MR2. Pile of poo.

I kinda like Cobra replicas, but then those guys build the whole car and call it a Dax Tojeiro, not "Exact replica of the 1964 Cobra 427 SC which drove Ferrari out of Daytona" applied to a mass produced, Mondeo based Ford with a fibreglass kit glued on wonky and painted with some paint someone mixed to an Aston Martin paint code.

My step brother is currently building a cobra replica. They have to be inspected my certain people at certain times in the build to be signed off at the end as authentic replicas

Cool, do you know which kit he's gone for? (It's on my list of things to do before I lose my zest for life) I might have just started one instead of buying the trevor had I not had another major construction project half done and filling the garage.
