You have to pull off the cover from above the driver's footwell Dave, it's secured by 5 push type fittings, then you'll find the socket more-or-less where Si said.

A basic code reader will only read "generic" OBD codes that relate to emissions control, everything outside this was left to the manufacturers to do whatever the hell they wanted - ie. Your kit can't talk to the modules that are causing the lamps to illuminate, they don't have to use a recognised generic protocol.
Choices are either find somebody with Ford level software to interrogate, or wait until people have suggestions. Is your brake fluid level at the correct amount?
Had the same on my v6 auto,replaced all the reluctor rings and sensors but to no avail,gave up as it was more than likely the abs module as sometimes water can get into the multi plug at the base of it,fiddly to get your hand into but worth taking the plug of and check for any signs of water corrosion to it
