Cougarfest 09

Another great Fest, thanks to Jason and Kully and team for organising the weekend, Like Richb mentioned was a bit apprehensive when i saw the place but turned out a great weekend.

Great to see faces new and old, special thanks as well to Kully for twisting my arm to buy the white dials and Alex for ripping my dash apart to fit them, Mo's goat curry, fantastic as normal, and to Bobster for retrieving some important files from my daughters laptop that packed in before she had backed it up :rolleyes5:. He drove back to Grimsby and within an hour had ripped the laptop apart and sent me the files, top man :thumbsup:

No it's wasn't Ginja's tent :hand:

Fantastic atmosphere, all the old faces, and great to see so many newer members. Did anybody count the cats? I got quite a lot of video footage, needs some editing but it will all eventually appear. Some great costumes on Saturday night :thumbsup: Where DID that Arab come from?? :confused::confused::lol:
Hopefully, we'll all be back next year, completed toilet/shower block, and better entrance and exits, everytime i went over that bridge, i expected to be taking half my bodykit home in the boot :eek6:
Vonny's first ever CF and first ever camping experience, and to be christened to both of them at the same time was something else. :lol: To say she was a little innebriated would be an understatement :lol::lol::lol: She vows to be back next year, and has even made me buy a ukcougar.com sweatshirt. :thumbsup:
 
Vonnie is great and definetly one of the girls, after saturday night. She must have danced till she dropped, like the rest of us.

spoke to a few people in marque ,could see a few hungover people and spoke to a member from leamington ,u all looked busy ,pid drove past on way out so thought leave you all to it gave the girl a run out( plus the wife) maybe see you all at another meet

Casscougar I wasn't even up lol you should have hung around for a while we were there till around 1 ish in the end on sunday.

loved the outfits, The GiRls LooKed gReAt !!!! yes they did!!!!

eventually after thinking about it for soooo long, i managed to fit some half decent underfloor lights for fest and they looked half decent!!!
just gotta sort out the boom box for the boot, JJ ?????

i just hope next years fest if at GrEndOn LaKes they have the damn Bogs and ShoWers SortEd - the lakes looked too dirty to wash in, i guess cleaning the car with lake water is acceptable but don't drive your car into the lakes it's been proven not to work!!!!

i'm pleased that my splicing electrical skills came in handy during fest, that starter switch worked out to be bit of a fiddle laugh!!! but ended up working never the less, hope that it's still starting fine, ?, unlike the new window closing toy we all helped with in the end, Mr Gardner cheers dude!!!

see you all soon, if this **** weather stops i'll plan a BBQ @ Combe abbey soon!!!!!

Also huge thankyou's to Bobster for his determination to get the starter button wired in :thumbsup: and to good not so old uncle Al for helping with the window mod install and letting me rip his car door apart so we could figure out how to wire it in. I am going to revisit it today to see why is has gone on strike.


Found it!

The cable ties had caught the power wire and cut it in half against the door metal. Recrimped (Not to Kevs standards :hand:) and hey presto it works again :thumbsup:

Looking at the one touch passenger window down mod on Friday hopefully.

Just a quick thanks to all for your concern at my quick trip to the hospital, very embarrassing, and extremely worrying, until the docs put my mind at rest.
Cheers to Al for the loan of the shatnav :hand: but mucho thanks to dave for ferrying me, dont know if i could have driven sanely, while being scared s***less!!!
