Been on our allotments today, all looking good if a little dry. Luckily we are the only ones with 1,000 litre tanks and an electric pump driving a hosepipe. However, on the way home we decided to have a small bar-be in the garden so I stopped at the little co-op in the village. All the locals are great and know how to socially distance graciously. But we are a seaside village and the foreign visitors are all turning up and have a clue or a care about anything. The all move around in a large posse of 10 or 12 like covid doesn't exist. This is going to cause so much bad feeling. At one point some wench was reaching around me, but sadly only for cornflakes...

Absolutely right Chris. The govt knows its capabilities to police this, which tend to zero, so we get 'guidelines' that should be followed and they hope for public co-operation. Its a shame they can't stamp on a few idiots now and again to show the rest of us we are doing it right...
