Blimey, was it really that long ago? Anyways, got this one back together today, tailgate is only resting as not enough metal to re rivet it, and i need to do the yellow bits lol
that looks fantastic tony!
for the model ships i do we use plasticard, u just score it with a knife to shape and bend it and it just snaps off to shape, u can then use plasiweld liquid which welds the plastic together (very strong).
u can even curve it by doin a yuri geller on it.
wish u could get a carbon fibre bonnet ,that would just be mind blowing
So after lots of titivation, several coats of primer with a rub down after each one, then a base coat of genuine Tourmaline, followed by a few coats of acrylic lacquer lol more work than the genuine item just need the paint to harden up for a few days before i glue it on also looking at scale carbon wrap too Paul lol you got me on a mission now
Rich was miffed when i first did the mirror caps lol

I may do more details at some point, ie carbon bits and black interior etc, and match the engine bay lol but it's taken me a good while to get this far, and only because i'm semi grounded while being off ill lol, idle thumbs and all that lol
