Do you park with your car nose down a slope?
Due to the design of the channels that run down both sides of the tailgate if you park nose down the water can collect in sufficient amount to overflow into the boot instead of running away down past the rear lamp clusters.

I consider this a general query and problem , hence me posting here and not being able to post in problems thread, due to yet becoming a subscriber (sorry mods!)
Hope you don't mind.

Quicksilver , you guessed right mate , cheers , I'll turn it round!!
Doesn't help when it has been raining pretty much non stop in Somerset!
Thank ye kindly!

Yeah Steve , I'll have a look... When I become a subscriber!
Just got a few more bits to iron out on my car first mate , then I'll look at subscribing.
Get that part put on you are going to send me next week , I topped the oil up for time being to Max level and will do a proper oil / filter change when the weather improves , going to touch up stone chip paint/rust spots next week on bonnet and anywhere else I can find , then I'm grease lightning it to showroom gleam... I'll post pics after I've done it ;-)
Hopefully new air filter will arrive tomorrow or next day , love driving my cougar , only complaint , it drinks more than a Scottish pensioner.

Carl, have you bought a sump plug yet?
I've found a very good used one complete with washer you can have for the cost of the postage.

I respect that mate, but I got one on order now for when I get the job on the go in a few weeks , ordered it this morning with air filter and some other bits(touch up paint, grease lightning,t cut scratch pen for the one badish scratch I have)
Just need to buy ramps now in a few weeks and oil filter , would have liked to buy everything but been pushing the boat out money wise these last few weeks.
If for some reason (god forbid) when I come to doing job and the sump plug doesn't fit(it better had do) I'll shout you if you still have it of course , many thanks for the offer.

Respect andy , I'll try to get membership sorted before end of march so I can put my name down for castle combe mate , I'll probably drive down on the day park up for a while and go for trot with family, still around £8 quid to park up mate? Do I send that money to you guys via PayPal? Should be a good day out if not pissing down!
Respect man , if I can ever help you guys out if you down in somerset , don't hesertate to ask.

If you fancy coming Carl, get your name down in the relevant thread.
Final cost per car depends on how many we get by the cut-off date.
Youngsters under 17 are free and it's £10.00 per adult passenger.
If you're coming as part of the club you'll need to collect your passes at the meet point at 7am and join the rest of us to convoy to the circuit where we park-up together as part of the 'display' the general public come to see.
Payment details will be confirmed when we know how many are coming.
