Dashboard/instrument cluster warning lights - bulb question

Afternoon all,

I have already done a bit of searching on this, and know that for the instrument warning/info lights (indicators, brake, TC, airbag etc.) I need bulb T5-509T, 1.2 watt.

Does anyone know if white bulbs will suit all lights? The indicators for example flash green, the brake light red, the TC orange - do they all take white bulbs?

Seen plenty of places to buy (ebay etc.) but only packs of single colours, no 'variety' packs.

Yes they're all white bulbs. It's the warning light 'windows' that are coloured.

might be worth change them all whilst it's out, rather than one and following week another go and so on sod's law really

If your's is a C1 you could add the 'lights on' warning bulb at the same time.

Well, it's funny you should say that - whole point was I was going to have the dash out over the weekend if I get a few minutes free, and thought I might try and fill in some of the blank holes that I know should have lights in. I also seem to recall reading that I could plug the MIL light in, so might see if I can get that working too.

It's a C1 'XAV' btw.

You could also earth the dash lights dimmer switch so it illuminates:

Good thinking - that's been bugging me since I had a ST24 which was the same. I'll add that to the list of things to do!
