Disc size.

Hi, could someone tell me what the right size is for the front brake discs, on a 2000 v6 24V.
So far I have seen the fronts listed as 252mm 253mm 260mm 278mm, even on a Cougar. spec page on the net it lists the Cougar as having rear drums, even more confused.

Yep 278mm, Zetec has smaller discs which are 260mm
252/3 are the rear discs which are common to both models.

iirc ALL European spec cougars had disks all round, USA spec had rear drums as well as soggy suspension
