Hey All,

Sorry that I have not been around for a while. Had a lot going on and been suffering from stress (work), so been back and forth to doctors etc. Also got a shoulder injury for which I am receiving physio. So things not been the best.

On a brighter note, I have a Driving Experience Day booked for this coming Friday at 9.30am, so anyone around in the Lincolnshire area, it would be great to see you there. We will be at Blyton Park Drivers circuit in Gainsborough. I will be driving a Chev Camaro, Aston Martin DB9 and a Ford Mustang GT350 (4 laps in each car). We will be staying in Lincoln, so it will be good to be home for a few days.

As yet with everything going on, I haven't got around to do anymore on the Coug. At the moment we have a lot of very large bills coming through and things are becoming a little tighter now that I'm no longer a shift worker. So really thinking long and hard now about the coug and whether it would be best (financially speaking) to let her go. I know I have said this before, but I just don't have the time anymore to do stuff to her and the fact that she doesn't get used, so she just sits on the driveway under her cover. The Mondeo is costing more, as just gone through another set of tyres, so she needs 4 new one's and because they are 19's, they cost a bloody fortune. Also got to have a new windscreen too (on the Mondeo), as that has a crack in it. Auto Windscreens came out and tried to repair it, but it failed. So they are coming back out on Monday to replace it. I have just received the bills for both the insurance and tax on the coug, so everything has come all at once...ugghh!!

I hope everyone is well and having fun in this glorious summer weather????.....lol!! Well, in amongst the rain that is lol!!!

I will keep you up to date with what is going on with me, as having to watch my blood pressure, which is due to my stress.

Cheers for now, Tim

Great to hear from you Tim, and sorry to hear that things are piling up and getting you down at the moment. I hope there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Great news about the track day though; that should sweeten things a little. Are you staying in Lincoln overnight?

Hey Chris, Thanks matey. Yes, staying in Lincoln overnight, as will be celebrating Rach's birthday (21 again aparantly lol!!). Looking forward to being away, even though it maybe only a couple of days.

Hi mate good to hear from you. Those bloody Mondeos eh? :)

Hope you have a great time at Blyton and get through a few more tyres! Sideways for the summer!

Excellent!

I don't know what your route home is going to look like (other than being a lot of cross-country) but if you find yourself near MK and fancy a pitstop for tea & wee on Sat or Sun, give us a shout. I'll PM you my details in a minute.

:edit: Or rather, I would, but your inbox is full!

Hi Chris, many thanks for the kind offer. We will be heading straight back to Devon via Birmingham, as we go M1, M49, M5. We need to get back because we have a new puppy (Benson's brother, as same parents) called Diesel. They are being looked after by Rach's mum, so Rach doesn't want to hang around. If we ever find ourselves out your way, then of course we will give you a shout and drop in and say Hi. Hope to see you all again, before another year passes. Cheers, Tim. Ps. I've cleared out some of my inbox...Oops! Lol!!!

Hi mate, good to know you are still here

I live 10 miles from Blyton and am off this week so can meet you there if you like

What time are you planning on arriving?

I will bring Sheila out for a run and watch you go around, I have a Formula Renault experience booked there on 1st September

No 'incidents' then Tim?:devilish:

Lol!!! No, but plenty of cheesy grins. Loved the Mustang, it had just over 600bhp and a **** load of torque. The easiest car to drive was the Aston Martin Vantage V8. The Camaro was something else, lovely to drive, sounded awesome and again a tonne of power. I will post up vid's and photo's later, as I'm on my pad and they are on the laptop.
