Hey... curious if anyone knows if the e-brake assembly would be same for a LHD to a RHD. I looked at pictures, the center console does look to be different from side to side... doing a conversion and unfortunately don't have a RHD e-brake assembly, not sure if anyone has a wrecker to part with if they are different. The handbrake/e-brake levers have different part nos. for LHD and RHD and they have a different construction.
The holes for fixing the lever to the floor are in the same place on both but on the RHD version the cable mechanism is on the LH side of the lever:

That's a huge amount of work to do a full conversion you will need dashboard loom, dashboard, possibly floor loom if your swapping seats. I would suggest just buying a solid RHD cougar and just swapping any personalised or better condition parts

We don't have any rhd here in the US and have a rhd half cut cougar. Illegal to import until 25 years old. It would still be doable to use LHD in the swap just a little awkward. I messaged the eBay seller, but doesn't sound like he wants to ship overseas.
Perhaps Norman (nvingo) will see this as he is breaking a car at the moment and might be able to help?
