ECP Sale again..

I used this to get my new thermostat. Its getting to be virtually every weekend now, I have loads of different factors near me (ECP, Andrew Page and an independent are right next to each other in Worcester) but ECP do seem to come consistently out as cheapest. Mail order not so good, I'm still waiting for the parts I ordered two weeks ago and no reply to emails, although they still seem able to send me advertising ones:LOL:

Sounds about right. I've only ever had one issue with ECP - I ordered a wash pump for a MK6 transit, they delivered a used one. Called the local branch who sent a van to my house straight away to exchange it for a brand new one. Cheeky sods.

Occasionally, even with their sale prices, their eBay page has the same parts much cheaper.

I realise that our experiences may differ - possibly even due to location - but I have never ever had a problem with the ECP in MK South.

In fact, they even called me to tell me that the part I'd ordered had arrived but was not what I'd asked for, apologised, and asked whether I was okay to wait for 24 hours.

When I was doing my bearing the other week, I found myself in Halfrauds getting a rear plate done, and a price for the wheel bearing just for fun (I'd already bought it at ECP). To my amazement they were cheaper....

I picked up the flyer but it seems you need proof of a business, which I'll not get.

What do you do for work? It doesn't have to be your own business. Laughingly for anyone that knows me, I'm classed as an engineer:eek::LOL: so I should be OK but even if I was classed as a van driver/courier (which I essentially am) I would be eligible.

I work in a college, office based nowadays. My pal might have a chance as a fitter*.

*As an electrician he has to fit all sorts of things.....

I'm a programmer. They really don't give a damn if you give them an easy time of it vis-a-vis paperwork.

You might need to lie, slightly.
