It is with great regret that i have to anounce that i am no longer a Cougar Owner:(.

It all started with cougar no.1 which was a 2.0l zetec with low miles and attended cougar fest 2010:

then i progressed to cougar no.2 which was the 2.5 v6 duratec with really low miles and x pack and attended cougar fest 2011:

And now with all the travelling im doing i now have gone ford but turbo (diesel) for the mpg (i used to own this exact car over two years ago):

I have had a great time being a cougar owner and have been introduced to great people on this site and have made some lifetime friends.
I would easily recommend the club to anyone who owns a couger or is even thinking of buying one(y).
No doubt i may still come to local meets in and around lincoln, nottingham and anything in a 50 mile radius, so keep me informed peepz.

Anyways i wont babble on and this is a little tribute to the cougar!!! thanks all:beer: Cougar_577

Sorry to hear that you have had to let the coug go. Understandable though Brian, which is why I run my Mondy for day to day driving to and from work etc. Luckily I can afford to run two cars. All the best to you and hope to see you again in the future at some of the local Lincolnshire meets, when Rach and I venture up that way in my coug. All the best. Cheers, Tim.

Shame you have had to change Brian but I understand your reasons, as others have said....don't be a stranger mate! And point the new owner in the direction of the forum :-D

If I had managed to get rid of my Coupe without having to part/ex I was going to buy your Cougar! Shame you have to give her up, she's a stunner.

thanks for the feedback guys..... i do miss the cougar and more than likely down the line i will pick up one again maybe a c2. the force is strong with this club lol, everyone comes back in one way or another

Cougar owner again...... anyone remeber Tiggernicks old cougar????

Welcome back Brian, and a well kept car you have there. Nick has taken good care of her and it's a car some of us have had the privelidge to leave blood and skin on,. Ask Nick about a certain winter at TopCats when we lowered etc. (y)

Welcome back matey. Yes, remember Nicks coug indeed, seen it at a few of the South Coast Cougar meets in the past. Looks to be in great shape, but not surprised as Nick kept it great condition all the time he owned it. Hope to see it again soon.
