I thought rather than just gawp at other peoples lovely photo's of work they have done, I thought it was about time for me to try to load some pic's of some stuff I have stumbled through lately.

It's a VERY long story, but in a nutshell I have had a replacement sub frame for my car almost as long as the car itself and after I had hardly used the thing over the last year or so thought it might just be a good idea to actually fit it, so I had it blasted and galvanised, bought all the nuts and bolts, had a mates garage for a week over Christmas, a transporter arranged to pick it up on new years eve to take it to the body shop to have the sill rust replaced (in all the usual places) painted and back to me to do a couple of tweeks and put the interior back in (currently in my spare bed room).

However the bush kit was lost in transit and took nearly 5 weeks to arrive therefore pushing back all my plans where the car has had to be brought back to me and I am currently waiting to hear if the body shop can fit me in before the Spring Madness show in April!

I was quite busy over that week however and a further long weekend to get this far.IMG_20211228_1035519.jpgIMG_20211228_1036054.jpgIMG_20211228_1036147.jpgIMG_20211228_1037361.jpgIMG_20211228_1037443.jpgIMG_20211228_1037520.jpgIMG_20220103_1430139.jpgIMG_20220103_1430317.jpgIMG_20220103_1430454.jpgIMG_20220103_1431559.jpg

That was how it started out and the 1st job was all 4 inner arches. Then prepping and repainting the front sub frame and arms.IMG_20220103_1434016.jpgIMG_20220103_1434174.jpgIMG_20220130_2126116.jpgIMG_20220130_2126359.jpg
Then at the front of the floor pan, before taking of the old and rotton sub frame and doing any rust behind it before fitting it all back together.IMG_20220103_1433425.jpgIMG_20220130_2127043.jpg

Cheers guys, there is still much to do, but for once I have this week off so I can get on with atleast some of the jobs. As you can see from especialy the corner of the last photo the large rust holes are yet to be done but fingers crossed on a good outcome. Old exhaust looks really tatty, but as it still works fine it'll have to stay for the moment.
