facelift?

Cougar front on a Mond looks cool, other way round it i don`t think adds anything to the mix, but i dare say Mond fans would accept it as in there eyes it would be a Mond coupe which in fact is what a Cougar is anyway, its just they seem to be blind to that as is most of the Ford fan community !

hi guys/girls

i was thinking to make my cougar unique with a facelift!! because the cougar is based on mondeo, do you think i can fit a front of mondeo st220 (wings, bonnet, bumper and lights ) ? can i just screw/unscrew (or drill new holes for the bolts) the new parts or i need to cut and weld?

is it possible and how hard it is to do it?

cheers
this has got to be a f****** windup, why on earth would you want to do this ?
Its like giving Rachel Riley a face job to look like Ester Rantzen

ok....I ....er...actually don't mind this!

Someone did a Cougar fronted Mondeo a few years ago. If I remember rightly, it wouldn't work the other way as the Cougar front is a bit longer than the Mondeo. Perhaps would need the wings making from the 2 for the right length and seeing how a bonnet looked? Also, the Cougar front has featured on a Vauxhall Belmont, Ford Focus, Peugeot 306 and I'm sure it's been grafted to an old Escort? Matt Ginja had pictures of some random builds with Cougar parts.

Personally, I agree with Mike above. Why would you?
