Took the Cats for a stroll in Boggart Hole Clough today (via Halfrauds first) and here are a few piccies. We have now shortened the Frosty Flymo's name down to FF (or as Scattycat says F*"$ing Fantastic)

Scattycat stood on bonnet of rather large FF

No idea what make the kit or the spoiler are - I was hoping that someone on here might be able to tell me :geek:

As stated previously we took a bit of a punt on FF - no MOT, no VEL and no test drive - but I now think that we got a bit of a bargain - certainly turns a few more heads than the Ka ever did - and probably about the same price as a 10 year old Ka :cautious:

aaahhh :D nice kitties! What is it about these cars that makes them so infectious, to the point family members have to have the same. Now, you don't see that with other cars, at least not on such a mass scale.
I think the kit is a RSbodykits mix.

It certainly is a bargain, and you can't get a more enjoyable motor for less. And just think, any future mods may end up being ordered 'x2'

I'd say Al's or Manos' silver C2 are two of the best examples of a frosty (y)

For me, there are four that I would have, Si's (ex lewys, ex Andy V6 NOS), Maz's (Bouncing Cougar) with Z3 wings, Ria's (ex Richk's) and Alex's pre break up. None are over done and don't deviate too far from standard. All are cougar 1's too.

IMHO the only body kits that look right on a cat are the more subtle ones, Wings West*, No Limits* and Roush (fitted to the cats RichB mentioned).
All the other kits are far too OTT and don't really follow the cats lines or styling.
Sorry, that's just my opinion.

BTW Scattycat's spoiler clearly isn't designed for a Cougar, it just doesn't fit.

Not my cup of tea at all - as you can probably tell from the pictures of GG and FF together. I've had GG for over two years now and if I'd wanted something like that she'd have been looking like that by now - all the mod's that GG gets are hidden away mechanical ones - apart from Al's lovely graphics of course - but hey ho if it keeps scattycat purring - who am I to complain :)

I thought the spoiler was actually free standing and just balanced on the boot lid when I first saw it but it is actually nailed down good and proper - it's a bit like that scooby one that Si was toying with a while ago.

Although it's not my cup of tea, to coin a phrase made famous by mr whitelock some years ago, the car has a nice exhaust note and looks much better 'in the flesh'. I have to admit to liking kits designed to enhance rather than change the looks of a cougar, it would be a nice gesture to all owners, past and present for pictures of their cars to be posted in seperate threads, no spam, but possibly a gallery on our homepage of all cats past and present, each colour having its own page (plus a misc), each car having a place on there, standard or modified, each one of us have contributed something and it's be nice to leave something for future members to see. I liked Alex's car before he had to strip it due to severe financial difficulties, there will be images of that car, but they're buried amongst other stuff.
