FF & GG's day out in the park.

Thats the beauty of modding it individualises everyones car. Scatty's isn't to my taste but mechanically it is sound and puts a smile on Sues face then good luck to her. Rias is a fantastic car to look at but bugger me it is a harsh ride I simply couldn't drive it daily. Richards car is stunning and a real credit to his devotion lets face it how many cars that live on a building site would be so clean.
Iains green and gold theme just works in my opinion . Di's blurple has always been a stunner the list is endless. At the end of the day if your car makes you smile be thankful it could be a nondescript eurobox that you couldn't give a hoot about.

Although it's not my cup of tea, to coin a phrase made famous by mr whitelock some years ago, the car has a nice exhaust note and looks much better 'in the flesh'. I have to admit to liking kits designed to enhance rather than change the looks of a cougar, it would be a nice gesture to all owners, past and present for pictures of their cars to be posted in seperate threads, no spam, but possibly a gallery on our homepage of all cats past and present, each colour having its own page (plus a misc), each car having a place on there, standard or modified, each one of us have contributed something and it's be nice to leave something for future members to see. I liked Alex's car before he had to strip it due to severe financial difficulties, there will be images of that car, but they're buried amongst other stuff.

I agree with this idea and wish it could/would be implimented. It would setup the whole image of the forum imo.

Iain, good to see the two cats out on the prowl together lol!! Must admit, looking at "FF" she looks so much bigger and wider than poor GG, it's amazing at just how much a bodykit can change the lines of a Coug.

Thats what I was thinking, same kit as Drift-cougar had "fitted" to his cat.

The Gallery would be a good idea, if someone took ownership of the thread and posted the pics on it,then locked it so it was "Read-Only" that would stop the spam. (i.e. you submit a pic to them and they are the only one able to post on the thread)

Yeah - I remember that one - poor guy - paid a lot of money to have it fitted too. I took a frosty boot lid all the way down to my first Castle Combe meet for him - 200 miles with my boot flapping open .

That's another + on the FF front - the kit ain't too badly fitted at all (y)

Yeah thats the one, looked like a 5 year old had fitted the kit with some play-doe and a set of self tappers

His werent the only one, after all Christians S wasnt exactly um perfect was it, just a shame these idiots are let loose with glass and filler

Personally i'm not a fan of that kit, or as Rich said, anything that screws with the natural lines, especially C2's hahaha kidding, the subtle kits are more suited i think

As far as Frosty's go, it'd have to be Ria's, Manos' C2, V6 NOS as it was circa 2005/6, Maz's with the Gangster wings and Alex's for the 4 pot crew as it was again circa 2006 ish. They'd be my top 5 frosty's in some order ;)

Can't believe you've missed Al's mate. Or mine.:p

Because as nice as they might be, the ones mentioned were around before you or Al and set the stage for all you frosty lovers of today. Whilst there are some good looking cars out there now, it comes down to the level of modding that crosses from quality to quantity. Some people have previously been so obsessed with being noticed,, they'd list changing a bulb as a mod, or a new tyre!

Ria's is the only frosty for me end of.

Richards would be the only black.

Tango is the only orange one for me.

Easy

JJ

Now I wonder which yorkshire man that is your talking about Kully?

Frosty's: Ria's (aka Rich K, aka skin-demon), Maz's (cuz she'll batter me if I don't agree) Mano's (its a C2 what more do I have to say ;)) V6 NOS (it defined the look and got more magazine presence than even my ugly mug) Damons, now fitted with wilwood 6 pot brakes :D (as it was a Cover car in Fast -Ford and got me into the cat) and Alan's. I don't like Tom Ford/Alex so I aint voting for him :devilish:

Blurples: Phil/Di Robbo's, Stewarts, Robs (or else he will bar me) Shagmonkeys.

Blacks: Rich B's, Kullys (before mate) King Rods, Tim (wild V6's)

Greens: Morgasm's (RIP mate) DYG's (its the wheels that do it)
