FF & GG's day out in the park.

As far as Frosty's go, it'd have to be Ria's, Manos' C2, V6 NOS as it was circa 2005/6, Maz's with the Gangster wings and Alex's for the 4 pot crew as it was again circa 2006 ish. They'd be my top 5 frosty's in some order ;)

A change of mind just hit me!! Remove Alex's car and replace with Stu's, the one with the CO2 jets and replace Manos' with Graeme's - that was a Silver Stunner!! :)

Sorry Manos!

I THINK
MY

Quite ironic you should say that Kully, especially as I have a part of his car sitting in my garage and it will be fitted to mine one day. o_O

Is Ria still a member here? Either way, are there any pics of their car that I could see please?

She's available for parties and weddings at a very reasonable rate!:LOL::LOL:

I actually said to her that if she was to apply and get the managers job full time (she's acting manager at the moment) she could buy a VW EOS, which she likes and was thinking of getting a while ago, she said that she wants to keep the cougar. I can't stress how much she loves that car.

Heh-heh.

I haven't been here long, so please forgive me if I stumble over how people know (or are related to) each other for a while yet!

I've never driven one, but don't those hard-top convertibles tend to be heavy and under-powered? My colleague had a 307 CC that he said was like driving a skip full of cinder blocks.

As for the Cougar, I couldn't agree more. I've had mine for just shy of 2 months and it's one of the best all-rounders I have ever driven. I love it to bits and I can't wait to put another one on the drive next to it!

I have owned mine for 7 years now, it's been a stormy relationship at times but there's just something that stops me selling it, sure it's showing its age now and has a few issues but when I see it on the petrol forecourt or on the car park at work, it stands out from the crowd. There are many cars a quarter of its age that look twice its age. On the daily plod to work, it always grabs the attention of other drivers, you might get more power in a VXR or Golf GTi's etc, but they are commonplace, uninspiring to look at and thief magnets.
