Had my Coug for around 18 months and really done very little to it. Refurbed the standard wheels in black (Mazda colour forget which) but other than that not much done.

So this week i got a bit of motivation to do some stuff that needed doing bodywork wise and then some inspiration to do some other stuff.

As it stood on Monday

It has had a couple of not so great repairs which need sorting and then i got thinking about removing the number plate holder and doing something with the interior. Along with a few additions, smoked lenses, swapped badges etc.

Got a few things done today.

Front bumper filled and primed ready for paint

Interror panels painted and lacquer (colour coded to body)

Also painted the front bumper now that the plate holder has been removed and holes filled.

And fitted the new decal for the front badge as supplied by Alan.

Excuse the masking at the bottom of the bumper.

Looks great :) shame you've got to spoil the bumper by putting the number plate back on it!

I want one of those "pop out" number plate holders that you can get in the US. The lad on NECO that's just restored the White C2 with the Cougar S top spoiler has just fitted one to the front of his car as his local area requires he display a front plate.

Yeah probably. There's a pic on NECO of his fitted up with a plate on it. I though there must be a way to wire it to a small motor and have the plate move electronically lol
