Finally Got One !

I did love my Probe - it was just the 2.0 litre one but looked great in its dark red colour and 17" TSW alloys. I sold it last year as it failed the MOT and I never had the cash to fix it.

Always preferred the Cougar though so I am well happy I now have one. My partner, Maria, prefers the Ford Probe so I am having the Cougar and she is buying herself another Probe now that her little Fiesta has died ( engine is knocking ). She says she likes the Probe better cos she likes the pop up headlights !

Aha big bird :LOL:

There isn't anywhere specific to try for modification's for the Cougar as its a limited market, however if you want engine modification then the zetec is the easier engine to mod (do remember though that it is no way related to the engine in your old Probe) a lot of people including myself have had to source mods and the like from across the pond, usualy through eBay.
For engine mods there is no finer place to go than Mafia HQ (so i'm told ;)) they could even set you up with a 4wd conversion for about £1500 iirc.
 
I used to have a 2ltr Probe, loved it...................................prefer my frosty coog though lol!!!:)

Wow - 4wd conversion sounds ( expensive ) but really cool !

Do you have any links I can take a look at about this ?

Doubt I would go for it, but you never know..........I could be seriously tempted !

Welcome mate!. as you can tell im also from The historic land of Wycombe (home of rs body kitts too) there are some great people on this forum who can tell you anything about the ins and outs of this car.

Hello mate and welcome to the Cougar fold!

We have three Coug's in our little clan - a frosty-silver 2.0, a blurple 2.5 auto and my green 2.5 manual...we must be completely mad!!!

You'll love it mate - pound for pound their about the best value and most stylish car you can buy.

Once you've got her, the thing I recommend you do is subscribe to the forum fella - you'll get to learn so much more about your cat than 'guests' can - it's £18 well-spent!

Another Silver (Frosty) zetec owner here! Welcome to the club, the subscription is well worth the money, many pennies have been saved from 'how to guides' and members extensive knowledge, this forum is the cougar handbook! :D

Of course Zetec's Frosty is a nice one fella - its MY old one, it's his pride & joy now though and the 'frosty' in our little trio, mentioned above!!!

(One day I'll get him to add a picture of my 'greeny' to my signature on here...SAMUAL!!!)

You'll also notice the lovely UK-COC stickers, that he has on his car - I really wish I had some like that on mine...;-) - they'd make a lovely little pressy I think's to myself!
