Finally - Pics of my Cougar "to be"

My car is a manual, as is Lottysvdub's. I don't there's any connection between the colour and the gearbox, it'd surely just be down to what boxes the punter in the showroom ticked. I've never really given it much thought to be honest!

My blurple is a manual also. I do believe though that the 2.0 only came with a manual box????

My Blurple is manual too, by far the best colour in the range ... but only 2.0, agreeing with cougarrsv on the manual box

they offered the 2.0 with an auto in the states but that hardly moved...not a very sophisticated gearbox is the 4 speed auto

Didn't the US also have a rock bottom base model with the 2.0 engine and drum rear brakes?

That's probably why they call them sway bars.

You just need to get a C1 front bumper and you'll have a pretty coupe with a half decent interior I am no fan of the chrome lights at all, so I prefer the look of yours. I think the chrome C2 lights make the car look like an albino rabbit rather than a big cat.

Nice C2 mate and looks like its in excellent condition. good to see another cat in Wycombe. Mow to get that dent taken out of my door!

I use the instant shoe polish with the applicator on my rubber and black vinyl, works a treat and rain runs straight off
