Do we have a printable flyer for leaving under random Cougars' windscreen wipers?

Might generate some extra interest.

You lot have been so nice to me I'd like to help spread the word:)

That's a good point. We've had a few variations over the years, but all will need updating with the web address and if using photos, they ideally need updating as well. I'm sure our resident logo rep could do something with last years fest photo's? I think the text from the one in dogsbody's link is still ok.

I have some reservations about doing this.

1) A plain A5/A6 sheet will turn to mush and be a pain in the backside if there's a hint of rain.
2) Putting a flyer under someone's windscreen wiper just looks like a cheap advert for a poor product. Or like a message from Barryboys.

There's nothing stopping people from doing that, but it'd be nice if we had a consistent, well-written message to leave people in a plasticised, business-card format like what Al uses at shows on his own car to advertise his graphics service.

As rare as we are now I'm not sure how many of these would be given out, but I think it's something we could look into for members and be funded by the club.

It's something that members have always done off their own bat, as and when they see fit Chris, rather than a campaign. I used to keep about six flyers in my glovebox but it was so rare to see another cougar parked up anywhere and the flyers just got more and more creased up. I eventually tidied the glovebox by buying another car.

The club I used to be involved with used to do this, we gained a few members through it no doubt but we did get a few posts from people accusing us of every sort of crime against their vehicle imaginable.

A plasticised item would look far better in my opinion.

I take your point mate. There must be a better way than just a plain piece of paper I guess.

Good idea. If we get our heads together over a design, I could get them done up and ready for Combe, which would probably be the first opportunity to get them portioned out.
