ford cd multi changers

has any one had the need to fit another multi player the focus unit looks like a different unit are they inter changable with a cougar/mondeo unit wondered if being both ford units if wiring was same or not thanks
 
I've got a complete system here (somewhere!) including the cable.

At least I assume it's around here somewhere because I've got the 10-disk magazine in my hand. :sideways:

That's must be an oddity Chris as standard Ford changers only had 6 disc magazines. :thumbsup:
 
My dad kept the Multi-CD that he'd put in his Yr2000(W) Mondeo. IIRC it is a Sony unit with adapter cable to fit the Ford head unit (think it was the tape version, same as the Cougar's) and a stalk remote. He's not put it in his 2009(58) Mondeo.
I have an MP3 player attached which the head unit sees as 6 CDs (folders and files on SD card) and which doesn't take up as much space.
