I'd like to thank everyone who was at Ford Fair today, for making my first ever club meet an absolutely cracking day. Tracey and I felt really welcome and I hope that we've made some new friends.
I also hope that everyone made it home safely.
Just a few pics here. Mr Morris' photography is a very hard act to follow, but I'm gratified to note that I managed to match at least one of his compositions.
Lastly, I didn't get a chance to speak to the owner of this motor (beyond saying hello I think), but it's a real stunner;

Ah - thank you. Shame my white shirt reflected in the door because at a glance it makes it look like a dent.
Seeing all those black Cougs in the metal today has definitely made my mind up about getting one. Think I'll need two car passes next year.

Sorry I havn't photos to provide as with dodgy right arm it would have been a little difficult. Great to meet friends old and new .I really like this show and have been coming hear since year dot "Cornburry park" through to "rockingham" and then on the "Silverstone" I've only mist one year and that was last year. But the 4x4 was represented with Iain "mofo".

I'll let you into a little secret! that is the first time i've cleaned it I usually find some one who needs to borrow it for a few days it and it allways comes back cleaming. such as dyg ' jason and the great mofo. I've stitched them all up with this. (But don't tell anyone)
Oh hell - I completely misinterpreted what was going on there otherwise I would have cropped it (I thought it was just a hug). I hope he doesn't mind me capturing that. I also hope the two of them got back okay - I really didn't want to leave without seeing how all that worked out.

Not half as dejected as I probably looked when the nice AA man dumped me Jaxx and Phoenix at Cawley services on the M6 at 22.00 - because it was the end of his shift - and we were then told it would be 01.00 at the earliest before anyone else could pick us up for the next leg home!!!
Not good enough said I - Do you know who I AM? Next thing I know a taxi arrives to pick us up and take us to Birmingham airport to pick up our hire car - a bleedin' Toyota Auris hybrid

We didn't have Tim and his slide rule and set square so it was up to me to sort it out, looks good dont it.
