Started to look at my Frosty suspension at last

I have now removed the same of the Ebony ready for treating also tank straps & fuel pipe

YOu have been busy Bob. That fuel filler pipe is a good indication of where they "go". Hopefully i'll have a similar pile on the floor come summer.

Most of it is getting an acid bath to clean it, then getting Galvanised.

The fuel pipes are getting blast cleaned where required then I will cover them with ?? something dont know what with yet.


Any idea's
 
I have a brand spanker waiting to go on, don't see any point in painting it, the existing one is 11 years old, doubtless the car won't be around in another 10 years so the subframe will probably see the car through to the scrapyard. Good work Bob.

Like the blue one too, looks a good job.

The Blue one's are droidgordie42's mate

but hoping they look as good as them
 
I knew that mate, I am sure that your's will look just as good, did it take long to strip them down to what we see in the photograph?
 
Slightly OT, but I wonder whether someone, somewhere is going to go to this level of preservation for the whole car.
