Martin ( dogsbody ) on the forum manufactures Stainless Steel straps for around 40 quid a pair. Might be worth sending him a PM.

Cougarbob makes them too, have had 4 sets off him over the years for different cougars

I can vouch for these too, I fitted a set about 4 or 5 years ago and they're still as good as new.

Mart did used to make them as well as Bob. Iirc Bob is now the only producer.
