Just needs the wing mirrors painting and a bloody good polish to finish it off (y)(y)(y)

I want to do this to my model I have got but it would not be that easy to speay mine to match my car given all the crazyness going on with it.
Good job with it anyhow, looks great.

That looks brilliant, I was only saying to Rach the other day I would love to find a model cougar and respray it to look like my own coug.

Nice job mate, can't wait to see the final pic's once it's completely finished and polished.

If you're using a rattle can to spray, you need to warm it up under the hot tap, (they're good up to 50 degrees) and give light coats from at least a foot away. Keep the coats light, except for the last one which should be floated on.

This stops any orange-peel finish so you don't have to polish it out.

Uhhmmm...look what I've just bought......

Think I'll be following the same lines.....respraying black...with chrome accents...lol

I've had one of these for a few years now and was actually considering spraying it black to match my Cougar of the time, considering I now run a Melina it's a good job I never got round to it! What I have wanted to do for quite a while though, is find somewhere that sells different wheels for 1:18 models, most of us have aftermarket alloys and it would be nice to be able to (sort of) accurately recreate our own cars.

Yes, fully agree Rich, as this will be something I would like to do with my diecast model. I'm going onto the net and see what I can find (y)
