Got no hot air though my vents

Hi guys i picked up my cougar about 3 weeks ago so dont really know anything about them.Anyways when i put my heating on hot i get no hot air but then if i close my vents for about 5 mins or so then open a vent i get hot air for about 10 secs.Can anyone please tell me what this could be?

Heater matrix is blocked. Its a common fault

I have a similar problem with mine, how do you resolve the blockage?

Flush the system through with some scale remover. There is a how to in here somewhere.

Or it could be the cabin filter is goosed and needs changeing

Mine has no heat what so ever, I did think it was a matrix problem. I'm breaking my old Cougar so I can replace any faulty parts from that one.
