Well now i got the mot :) the real work has already begun lol
been swapping batteries about and all my junk in Stripes to Goblin including the battery cover and mats etc

From Stripes
Transfer battery and cover..............................Done
Transfer ST200 rocker covers and UIM and 57i.....Done except rockers, cba lol
Fit multipoint LPG from Scunny..........................WIP
Fit new brake pads (had to use old ones for mot).Done
Transfer sub and amp......................................Done just need to wrap the sub box in carbon
Transfer towbar..............................................Done
Transfer cruise steering wheel (Now got C2 wheel)...........................................................Done
Sort out cd changer (no power).........................Removed, not compatible with HU (looking to see if Blaupunkt changer from Stripes will work)
Sort out sunroof runners (broken).......................TBD
Check out alternator!!! (light on at 6k)boooo........TBD :eek:(WIP got an alty to refurb from Kully)
Sort out dodgy nut on TRE................................Done
4 wheel laserline check (its a tad out).................Will be done post finding suspension knock
Sort out suspension knock.................................Done
Fit HID's.........................................................Done
Refurb wheels..................................................TBD

I'll be interested to know how you get on with the sunroof as I'd like to get mine working again :eek:
 
Makes all the right noises, but does nothing for 5 secs or so then lifts up? Job for the summer me thinks!
 
Well got a couple of jobs done today, mainly transferred wheels from Mongy to Stripes, as Kane needs it near standard as possible due to insurance (robbing ba*****s) but also traded Mongy cc wheel onto stripes and Coug cc wheel onto Goblin, also cc servo and switches from Mongy to Goblin, so yeah we been a tad busy lol, needless to say both cougs now have cc and mongy is without hehehehe
 
Had a much closer look, pulled it apart etc, and found a bit of play in the d/s, was the only thing i could find........until i put it back on the ground and turned the steering, the strut moves or should i say jumps, to where it flipping wants, the top cap is the one that came with the 2nd hand leg and the spot welded washer was adrift, i didnt think it would make any difference as the rubber cup should hold it in place, but it turns out it does lol, will cut the nut off my old damper and retreive the original cup hmmmmm numpty springs to mind lol
 
Had the leg out today, all good apart from the top cap washer, took me a little longer than anticipated as i was sposed to go to Kully's, soz dude, but glad i done this, the washer was locking up the cap and spinning the spring in the top carrier, luckily no damage was done to the damper rod, and after a bit of panic and re-assessment i put it all back together with a strut top bearing that had some minor wear on the outside of the cage, turned out to be ok, so no more jumpy steering yay (y) also chucked in my HID's while i was at it, god they're bloody bright lol, onto sub install tomorrow, see how i get on with that :beer:
