Yep, when the doors are open, or because of the way the interior light is switched, when the interior light is manually switched on.
It's actually really easy to do.
You will need a torx key (Cant remember the size but it's the kinda standard middling one!!!)
Phillips screwdriver (Pozidrive if you want to be picky)
A thin edge to prize the courtesy light out.
I used a 4mm wood drill, you could use a bradawl.
Soldering iron.
A length of whatever wire you have kicking around. It's pulling negligible amps so I use old speaker wire.
3mm Bezel clip (20 is about £2)
3mm wide angle 12v LEDs in the colour of your choice. Again, a couple of quid for 20(12v is way easier than dicking about with resistors)
Pop off the interior light and unplug it.
Undo the two screws holding the overhead console on.
Remove the screw covers and undo the sun visors (V6 also has vanity lights to unplug so don't drop them when they come loose)
Pop open the covers on the jacket hooks by the rear windows (these are plastic hinged so careful or they will snap off) and remove the screws.
Ease out the three press plugs at the back near the tailgate. This are pin in sleeve plugs so ease the mushroom up but leave the insert behind.
Now start ripping the plastics out. The front windscreen (A?) pillars first then drop the seats forward, prise off the T shaped covers at the top and work the back covers off.
None of them need to come off completely. In fact I only take the fronts off all the way.
Easy the headliner through the boot hatch.
Drill some random holes. (geometric or regular patterns are a pain, they never line up and the ocd in all of us hates that 1 is always in the wrong place)
Put the bezels in the holes.
Put a pop rivet, toothpick or something through the bezel (so you don't miss one)
Push the river/toothpick out from the back with the led until it clicks.
Wire in parallel (keeps them working if an led fails.)
This is parallel: -
For ease, fit some bullet or spade connectors to a loose end on the +ve and -ve side of the leds and run a fly lead (wire) from the +ve courtesy light connector (The single one)
And another wire from the 12second feed.
The 12 second feed is the top of the T on the T shaped double connector.
The only thing I would strongly advise is get a 12v source (a PP3 battery at 9v is actually man enough) and check your leds before you fit them and check your wiring works before you fit the headliner back in.
Fitting is the reverse of removal as it says in all the good books

Any questions you know how to find me.
If an admin wants to cut/paste/adjust and chuck in the how to's that would be grand.
Thanks for listening.
