thank you all for the nice compliments behave my red cougar. Is the red cougar never sold in the UK?
I have some more details of my car. It is a cougar with only 45000 miles. I'm de second owner of the car. The first owner had de car for 9,5 years and was searching for somebody who has a love for the cougar. Otherwise he woudn't sell the car. At The buy the car was standard and in a very beautyfull state. The cougar have a automatic gear. Now I have place 17 inch 215/45 tyres instead of the normal 16 inch 205/55. the car is more stabil and less shacking while driving. The mongoose exhaust was a gift from my parents.The Viper airfilter I bought from a friend in belgium very cheap. The modifcations in the future are: a trunkspoiler, a rear mirror spoiler. Maybe in de future mapping and a sportcat.The last modification is very expensive. At this moment a don't have the money for it.I have to save some money in the meanwhile for future modifing.

now with the new tyres the cougar drives better. In the garage they told me that the cougar has standard 17/215/45. Before I had the official cougar 16 tyres and wheels made by the Factory. I think they doesn't fit at the car. Maybe somebody can tell me the original size is described by Ford?

What is standard on the cougar 17 or 16 inch?. Before I had the original tyres and wheels from The Factory.
 
The standard wheels were 16's with 215/50/16 tyres. Hello and welcome Marko and a very happy new year to you also.

The Cougar came with 16's as standard in the UK, I would suspect that was the standard size in Europe too (the USA came with 15's yuk!) the tyres would have been 215/50 16's (thats what it says in the manual) only Cougar that might have come with 17's from the factory, would have been the ST200 model but that never went into production....however, several special editions from the USA had 17's fitted as standard, the ZN (ZINC yellow) and the XR (available in RED and Black) thing is these cars weren't sold in the European market as far as I know.

The 17 inch SVT wheels I have on my car are coming from a cougar in the USA. They were their standard, the thold me. after searching on the internet my wheels are wheels for a ford focus. But they have de same ETvalue and slots-space 4X108 as the cougar.

to day I ordered new RVS signplatsholders for my car. Now I have plastic ones.
I find this better looking on my car.

Lucky you!! - I wish Ford had sold red cats in UK. I have seen two shades of red on cats in United States, one was the bright Rio Red and the other more of a darker metallic red.
 
hey, do you have a video with exhaust sound fomr the mongoose?

and did you do something to your catalyst? i have a decat laying around..
 
hey, I build the exhaust just a few days ago(29 dec 10). I have no video with sound. When you are driving you have a normal sound. When you are getting from 60 to 120 you get a great bombatic sound.
Until now I have a normal cat , In the future i go for a sportcat en madifolds and a trunkspoiler. Now I have a normal standard radio en want to buy one with a nav and other speakers.

Nice Marco, your cougar looks great already, the trunk spoiler will set it off a treat, what type of spoiler are you after, a standard one or something a bit different? (y)
Any thoughts on adding any body kit, or are you keeping the body styling standard?
 
I only place a rearspoiler en the rest of the car stands standard, no body kit. I place, I think, a normal spoiler. I'am more a guy who want to performe under the hood then make the car great with a bodykit. When I'm finished with my engine a probably have more than 230 horsepower.

When I have reached the 230 bp I want to achieve it this year. At this moment, I haven't enough money. I have to save some money first.
It will cost more then 1200 euro.
