Has anyone had any problems with their Transmission Range Sensor

Been having a bit of a problem with my new Cougars auto gearbox. So I plugged it into my scanner and it's come up with a problem with the Transmission Range Sensor.
Just wandering if anyone else has had this problem and what the symptoms are

Your right Add no luck with gearboxes I was beginning to wander if the cougar autobox is a bit weak

I have had 2 auto's now and no problems mate.. Not sure what to suggest to be honest, i don't suppose the spare auto box you have fit's the new car does it..?

Really, that's strange... and a bugger... Are the range sensors not the same though? you could nick the sensor of the black car to see if that works?

Just remember to put it in neutral before changing it

I removed the one from the black one today so when I get 5 mins I will swap them over. Thanx Ggsumo for your help.

Swapped the transmission sensor on my cougar last night and it seems to have worked. Yay.
