Having a little bit of work done at Mafia HQ

Blown away by all this, top - top drawer work with stunning results. Give it a few weeks of running in then watch out....:cool:

Took me 2 cans to read it.....:LOL:

Well playtime is over today it was back to fixing a french shed !. On the + side it was cottage pie at Mandies. Once this was all put together i must admit under the bonnet looks just bloody stunning. The photos don't do justice to the metalflake especially on the rocker covers. Also Manos's old engine looks like it will be propelling another cougar soon.

Indeed, the pics don't come close to seeing it in real life.
It's powdercoated underneath, followed by metallic paint and the metal flake is in the lacquer. Then more coats of lacquer to level off the metal flake.
Powdercoat only comes in a very limited number of colours so you can't achieve nice or matched metallics with powdercoat alone.

Any guesses on what kind of blue the UIM is?

Think its safe to put these up now lol ;-)

I recall a few suggestions on flakes and lacquers ;) In any case it looks the shizzle!

Without doubt, THE hottest C2 in the club.

I'd say my fave engine bay in the club!.

One of the few C2's I would actually own my preference has always leaned to the C1 but this one I would make an exception for.

Very nice Manos!.

And anyone else I may have forgotten.

Thank you to all of the above.

It was a pleasure mate(y) But I think Mo should top the list as Vicky would top mine for putting up with us and our fixation with these bloody cars.:eek::eek:

It's hard to put any preference to the order of credits. If anyone in the list had not played their part, the project would have been a failure.
I've therefore added a small edit to the beginning of the credits list 'In no particular order'.

What a great project and a huge credit to you Manos for going ahead with this - and to all those credited for their input which truly earns you the title of having the best c2 in the club.

Being fair, i have always thought that.....this just confirms it. No offence Matt
