Thought i would pop in and say hi everyone, hope your all doing ok (y)

bit of a car update... astra sri sucked and was to small so i got a Volvo V40 2T... not bad but not quick enough and no street cred and i missed the Cougar V6 so much!...so just go myself a nice tidy ST220 Estate ;)

And as some of you know i like my bass so got that sorted this week... little nod to JJ and Kully :whistle:

Lots more mods planned and i hope to get to some of the shows this year so will look out for the Cougar Clan

Very nice Chris!. That v6 rumble is adictive isn't it?. Think you've got the best colour mongy too.
 
Heh - not sure about the boot install because, you know, it's an estate and the main reason to have one is massive cargo capacity... but that is very pretty. Looks like you could blow off the tailgate with that little lot. How does it sound with all that space in the rear?

Also: Looking at it makes me wish for an ST270 Cougar 3, which I would totally go for, petrol prices bedamned.
 
Sounds great! much more acoustic than the wall setup i had in the cougar. do need to stop the rear no plate vibrating though lol.

You say that I was wondering the other day if it would be possible to fit the front arches and bumper of a Cougar on a mondeo estate, what with all the top sports car company's making shooting break examples of their cars, plus people complaining the cat hasn't got the room for their kids, dogs, junk etc.
 
Mmmmmm....nice Mondy matey, I have similar colour Mondy myself, although mine is just the basic TDDi. Those wheels are pretty and I'd like a set of those on mine - I suppose they should fit any Mondy Mk3 ?? I take it they are 18's ?

There's not many good looking and fast estates out there that can be had for decent money but that's one of 'em. I like it (y)

Aye they're 18" - any of the Mk3 rims will bolt straight onto your Mondy. And with the standard suspension it's still reasonably comfortable over bumps and the like. You get much better grip though with 225 18" tyres (y)
 
Wild, yes 18" ST220 wheels, will fit any mk3, you can pick them up on ebay but there not cheap! Mine have been refurbed cos they all corrode after a few years. Want to get them powder-coated white at some point ;)
