I just joined this forum. My Cougar is probably a little different than most of yours. It is an early 1967 model that was converted to an SCCA Trans Am Race Car by employees at Shelby American in 1967 and went on to have an illustrious career in Group 4 sedan racing as the Bob Estes Lincoln Mercury Cougar. The Cougar is still in as raced, unmodified and unrestored condition from when it last raced in 1968. Presently, I race the car in the Historic Trans Am Group in the United States. I have some in car video posted on YouTube that you can find if you search under "cougar Trans am race car". Cheers
