Good evening fellow Cougar drivers...i trust you are all well and whatever?

New to the forum although i've owned a Cougar for about a year, so thought it would be handy to sign up to a Cougar forum as i'm about to perform some light restoration work on my cat starting next year.

Nothing much of the way of an introduction, I'm 28, i love my Cougar and i'm allergic to '' social media '' because i honestly just don't get it... seriously.

Anyhows am a Scot who couldn't care less about the up coming vote for independence as i tend to just stick to doing my own thing without the motive of seeking approval or attention, you could say i don't do '' hysteria ''

Having had my Cougar for a year, i have to say i'm very well impressed...despite her age she runs effortlessly and has never missed a beat...Her exterior could do with a re spray as some paint has flaked off, but zero rust as of yet.

In the year i've had her i've noticed an increase in Fannies trying to 1-up me at the lights and what not, or leveling me on the motorway and trying to get me to race and all that nonsense.. I figure i've nothing to prove, especially when its some acne ridden mutant in his Gran's Saxo...so i just continue to cruise..

Anyways i'll post pics later and hopefully get to know some of you a little more, but i don't really do Forums n facebook and all that so, bare with me.

Nice to meet you all...

Ps, she's a v-6 Blurple with 88k on the clock.

Welcome mate, if you need help then there's always someone on here who has done what you are planning - with the car that is. Get the pics up.

Hi mate and welcome to the home of the Cougar from a fellow Scot. We will be having a Scottish meet at Elie, Fife sometime in April or earl;y May next year if you fancy coming along and meeting up with some other Cougar owners.

Welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll find all the info you need to help you through the work you have planned and a bit extra ;)

Thanks people (y) Don't think anything other than a service will be in order for my cat for the remainder of this year. Next year, hopefully for the summer..I can treat her to a brand spanking all round paint job. I got custom wheels and my interior is pretty sharp bar a rocky elbow rest between the passenger and driver seats, and a big scratch on the drivers seat, but all in all, the leather is tight n tidy and she runs smooth. Thanks for the welcome.
