Hello everyone. I'm Matt.bj's wife and the owner of the Amazon green v6 that spjmorris had.

It it took a few attempts to get on here - kept saying I was a spammer so grateful that it finally said yes (had to change my user name).

Ive got rid of my fiat 500c twin air for the cougar. Decided I wanted something that, like the fiat makes me smile but unlike the fiat will get me easily up the hills around yorkshire.

Loving the cougar so far although got a gopping cold so not been too inclined to go too far in it (if I can get Matt out of it).

Hello Charlotte and welcome to the forum. (y)

Good to hear you're enjoying your Cougar and hope you get over your cold soon enough but just be thankful it's not man flu. :):)

Hi Charlotte and welcome to ukcougar.org, your in the right place for all things cougar related, as well as some crazy banter. You will also be able to find all the fixes you need in our subscriber sections. Have a browse around the open forums and get a feel for the place. Remember! ukcougar.org is the only workshop manual for the big cat.
It's a nice example you have there. What was your preferred username? I'll see if it can be altered if you like.

Hello and welcome aboard Charlotte. Hope you enjoy your coug when Matt's not cruising around in it lol!!!

Hello.

Thank you you for the warm response.

Dont worry about the username. As I was typing in charlotte it said it was a valid name which was not in use but then thought it was a spammer. It's no issue.

I used the word 'gopping' as it seemed to be the right and fitting word for this kind of cold. Hopefully the memories are good ones!

Yes the boot is a good size. So much better than the fiat. should have thought to hide it in there rather than send it back.

So far Matt has changed the stereo and put led lights on the internal door light. Going to be looking at parking sensors too possibly. With Matt playing with the car it's stopped him trying to put akky cans on my motorbike! Although he keeps trying to get me to swap him for his Volvo. Ho hum.

I'll some photos on later and keep updating.

You've definitely got a good 'un there - and Steve is well-known for looking after his cars correctly. Hope she serves you well, Charlotte.

As for the gopping, it took me by surprise, but didn't take me to a particularly bad place.

Ah good Mako. Wouldn't want to send you to a dark place!

Thanks Steve. I'd looked at it before getting the car. You'd done a lot of work on it. It's nice to see some of the history of the car.

Now It's getting cold and frosty may be looking at replacing the front screen as the filaments have a blank spot just in front of the drivers seat. Will look to see if the insurance covers it or whether I have to stump up for one. But it will be worth it, since i live in the Pennines!

£75 excess will see you with a new screen as mentioned elsewhere - there's already a chip in the middle of it ;)

Still working on getting that door glass up to you......

Hi and a very warm welcome to the family, your not that far from Manchester or quite a few other members in yorkshire
