Hi all,

Been a lurking member for a while, thought I'd say hello1 i just flushed out my coolant, but have destroyed the climate control temp sender thing in the process, does anyone know what the proper name for it is? and where I can get one? Currently i got a piece of 15mm copper pipe bridging the gap! cheers!

Hello and welcome!

I'm struggling with this. The temperature sender on the cooling system is nowhere near those pipes, and in any case it screws into the side of the pipe, rather than leaving a bridgeable gap when it's missing.

Sounds like you're describing a heater control valve, but I didn't think that the Cougar/Mondy had one - temperature from the matrix is controlled by the blend flap and motor.

Do you have a picture of the part that you have removed so I can better understand?

Hi Harry and welcome to UKCc. I am guessing it's the temp sensor in the matrix pipe, the "T" piece through pipe with the connector at the top, if you imagine the "T" upside down
