the speedo is part of the MOT too so I'm surprised it didn't fail on that too...plus your TC & ABS light will be permanently lit?

yes it's on the gearbox and fairly simple to do just fiddly, 15 min job on ramps - as I said above £20 gets you the one sat in my garage :)


Tyres - standard size is 215 but pricey, if you move away from this width fit 225s rather than 205s which look a bit lost in the arches
 
Surprisingly they didn't test or fail the mph gauge for the mot , I too am surprised at that but hey , only two things failed me , so be on the road soon! And if I can't use or afford to get that thing put on this time due to paying out for welding and back breaks , I'll use my tom tom as a speedo! Hee hee.
