Hello and welcome to the club. I do have a question. You claim to be running 245BHP, can I ask how you have managed this with what looks like a stock St24 engine. What modifications have you carried out to get to this figure ?
I am running an St200 engine from the Mondeo. I have got Toyo-Sports Stainless Steel decat headers & Y-pipe + Main Decat pipe, Cat back Longlife Stainless Steel exhaust to Quad AMG tips, Pippercross Viper Carbon Air Filter, Pro-M Maf, Magnecor 8mm leads, Fully Flashed ECU with St200 software and a very special UIM that produced 209BHP on a stock St24 engine with just an aftermarket airfilter. I think I would be lucky if I was getting 220-225BHP given the engine already produces 205BHP stock. Also my engine came out of an ex police car and I have been told by Tony ( Topcat ) that it was a fully blueprinted engine.
I am very interested to hear how you have got to this kind of power![]()
The only engine on this forum is Alan's that has truly blueprinted by us .
hello mate my mate has done the work on engine and did a dyno after he rebuilt it after upgrading the internals and upgraged from 1 he had at his unit. its now bad on fuel at 11mpg lol at the mo im looking in to supercharger just got to work out how to mount it and where to cut the bonnet for scoop. (plus police cars are standard just with maps) ill see if I can get a list off him what he changed

Not according to Tony.
Now i'm curious. Which one is that Peter?
When we was all at Matt's Funeral I had a conversation with Tony and he told me that the engine in my car was out of a police car and it was a fully blueprinted engine. I had no idea of the history before Dave had it in his car, I knew it was a very well looked after engine, Nick at Bolton also confirmed this to me as well as I was paying quite a bit for it but I did not mind knowing I would have years of piece of mind to which I have had.
I forgot you had dygs old lump.
naturally aspirated it would need a 3L bottom end, high rise cams and ported and polished.Yep, and with Daves UIM I think I have got one of the best V6 engines in the club. It has run without fault, quite good fuel usage, I can not have any complaints at all.
I am just very interested how the op has got 245BHP out of a standard lump.
