All my exploits - flowerpot mods etc are well documented on the forum. I know bugger all about cars - but I'm getting there :geek:

I HAD a really sweet V6 - was running at 184 with just a 57i and BlueFlame. I did a lot of ST200 mods - UIM, ECU, injectors, T/B etc + Racebits S/S headers = 214bhp but unfortunately ragged her around a bit too much and killed her :cry:

Now my Mafia oppos are rebuilding an ST200 block to stick my bits on + bespoke hand ported heads and a few extras and have a bet on with Fast Ford that we can do 250 - they say we can't - red rag to bull etc.

Nothing the Mafia can't do - 4 WD, turbos etc depends what you want - and, above all, the camaraderie and goodwill on here is amazing (y)

Fast ford and all the other cynical people who turn their heads when you say "cougar duratech" are only interested in mainstream engines like the z-tech, cosworths and the volvo 5 cylinder lump, which ford call the RS, not that I hate those engines! once you have proven to fast ford what the st duratech is capable of and what the mafia can do, I will tell them where to stick it! The Mafia will pull it off and i will buy that issue of fast ford when the beg mofo for the interview and pics!
Now I know Shagmonkey Invested a lot of money in his Cougar S Concept to make it go like stig (which was featured in fast ford by the way) but at least he gave most of us modder's some HOPE!!!!!!!!!

And just to stay on the topic, I did ask the Mafia about the Upgrading for a 4x4 TT Cougar and they replied well. There is nothing you cant do Mate and don't let anyone tell you different!
 
yea ive looked at alot of parts from various cars. Mercurys fords jaguars but in the end i think to run anything other than the 200 stuff would require a bonned mod/change
 
I was thinking ill do the full manifold injectors airbox maf and bellows but not do the cams as like you said add_issan its too much ******* about to do the cams IMHO for the gains. If my HG went tho id do em deffo lol same with the fly ill do it when i do the clutch, its gettin near the top so its a no brainer.

Im thinking ill just get the Collins J3 powerchip for the ECU port but jus get an st200 map code not my box code on it after fitting the manifold etc. That will be possible?

You will map 8 bhp tops out the ECU. I have many different maps for the v6 and the bluefin one with a few tweeks is the best one I've found. Its not a great engine to release much power.
