yes, you can get melina blue here....along with black, silver, and a couple of shades of green.

And then you have a couple of red ones which are around (imported i assume) and a couple of alternative colours through recent paint jobs :)

Yes i know in England you have this colors

Cougar in Italy has sold bad...also for the lack of advertising, in TV and all the rest

my cougar in the future will become Ebony black....i love this color
so my cougar will look "aggressive"

this link reminds me to the start page of ebay.uk
so i can't see nothing

thanks anyway

well i'm about to go in italy for one day
with my Felino

it will be 800 Km perfectly...my cougar never betrayed in 12 years

I drive many times like this:

"Every light i see it's green
My Cougar it's triple-plated chrome
motor running
now i'm gonna learn
nothing else takes us
to get these thrills with our Cat
wheels of fire
burn the night
we live to ride our Cat"

Thanks and see you all soon-))

Search this number on ebay.co.uk and it should bring up the manifolds on the link:

350757167770

ok now i can see the link...thanks
"FORD MONDEO MK2 96-00 2.5 V6 ST200 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST MANIFOLDS & Y-PIPE"

Clicking on:"See compatible vehicles"
and entering the data of my cougar

I thought ... "I hope they are compatible ..."
but the answer is:
"This item does not fit Ford Cougar 1998 EC_ [1998-2001] Coupe"

well maybe i can find this exhaust manifolds on ebay U.States
the americans are mad for the Cat...they have all parts of tuning for cougar

Keep searching....

"chi cerca trova"
"he who seeks finds"

or maybe I could find on the moon

I like that sentiment Lorenzo very inspiring! :)

yes I saw it for the first time the Cougar in 2002, near milan
and I said, "This is my car"

well I just got back from Milan
800 km...

and the cougar has given me more satisfaction

and I brought with me some good things
left to me by my dear and lost dad

"Ford original books of technical assistance and training"

"Ford Cougar: new product introduction"
"Ford Cougar: Bodywork (Auto Body)"
"Ford Cougar: Global diagnostic system (WDS)"
"Ford Cougar: Noise and vibration, squeaks and beats, Cougar"

There are 4 original programs Ford...for the control unit
I had tried those available for the 2544cc, my displacement
execute it in Ford, with the global diagnostic system (WDS)
about 3 hours to reprogram the control unit
the more powerful control unit for 2544cc...is the first program ('98)
gives more torque at the opening of the secondary ducts of air (about 3,900 engine rpm)

They will fit

ok it will fit

it will fit anyway?..or not?

The diagram at B in the drawing matches the manifolds in the pictures.
This diagram is for the later system with the 3 bolt flange.
Have a look under your car for a 20cm long flexible pipe at the front end of the single exhaust pipe.
This will have a 3 bolt mating face as at B and in the photos.

Whoops sorry guys, I meant they will fit the engine!

As above - get under the car, if you have a section of flexi, it's all good.
If you have the earlier system with two spring bolts, the headers will fit but the y-pipe won't.

the Cougar book says for the diagram at B: engine exhaust Duratec - VE 2.5 with automatic transmission
Yeah i see the 3 bolt flange

right now i can't get under my felino...'cause for now i don't have the crick to raise a little the Cougar
this week will arrive 4 brake discs, shock absorbers and springs
maybe today i hope, so I'm going to mount ford workshop
and i will see if there's 2 or 3 bolt

but i'm sure at 90%...that my Cougar have exhaust manifolds as B diagram
'cause this Cougar book was written in June 1998
My Cougar was built in September '98 in Flat Rock (U.States)
It's Ford Cougar
Not Mercury Cougar

maybe some of my neighbor has the crick to raise a little bit the cougar
I'll see what I can do

my exhaust system is modified...i don't have the central cat...I replaced it with a direct pipe in stainless
and 2 tailpipes
the sound it's very good
