in the future my cougar will become ebony black
but i don't know if exist "metallized Ebony black" or normal Ebony black
The Ebony Black here in UK is flat and non-metallic. The Ford Mondeo's in Panther Black is metallic. Personally I prefer the flat black colour rather than the metallic black, but all depends on the type/make/model of car.

This cat have made the entire trip around italy
and it's black...my future color

There's and flexi tube down the filter
That goes under the car, attached to an air scoope
So as the speed increase
This air scoop put a g;reat quantity of air
This is my Cat with "assetto"
Shock absorbers and springs
These are the ebc discs drilled and grooved, redstuff pads in ceramic
More brake power
But the ceramic can consume with time the discs
The K&N filter must be mounted carefully, the air tempetature sensor it's delicate, it must put into the filter very gently
And there's to drill 2 M6 hole under the car for the air scoop
There's no a precise point to drill
Soon will come the pics of the inox exhaust manifolds
Hope you can see the pics

Hi Lorenzo, welcome to the forum. Something I'm curious about. In Europe, are the Cougars as they are in the US, with US spec grills and badges?

In the US you have mercury Cougar
And Ford Cougar
But it's the same thing
In europe as Quick said, we have only Ford Cougar, not Mercury
In Italy Cougar sold so bad..so we don't even have the 2002 model, and doesn't exist Cougar ST 200
In France (where i live, but i'm italian), same stuff...
In germany and England Cougar sold very well
So in germany there's Cougar 2002 and St 200
I don't know if in England Ford have sold Coug ST200
The spec grill have the Ford logo, not Mercury
I know well Neco US, i'm registred
i'd like to Buy Cougar ST200
But it's difficult like mounting the inox exhaust manifols...
But with me nothing it's impossible....LOL :angel:

thats a nice looking coug youve got there...they bark more with a cone air filter dont they
this cone filter k&n it's particular
'cause the flexi tube attached to the air scoop under the Cat
gives more hp as the speed increase
but some instructions are wrong
the sheet says:"Drill 2 M6 on the bracket under the filter"
this is wrong 'cause the filter arrive a little forward from the bracket
there's no need to drill the bracket
happy about this filter
i wull put a adhesive official Ford on the Filter...
To avoid ba**s breaking from the cops...
there's another good air filter for our Cat, BMC CDA
