Hi folks
i wanted to wait until next month to get a cougar when i got my bonous but just had to drop of my vitara to the garage with a suspeted blown head gasket it has done a 157k:(

mind you its good in a way as i get a cougar faster:LOL::LOL::LOL:

so its a v6 so it will have a timing chain i know that the guy has all the previous mot certificates since new and its very low millage

i used to own 3 v6 probes at once before so i am a bit of car finatic

what should i be looking out for?

Quite a bit of advice in my thread below about Going to look at one.

I know from previous experience with Probes, the V6 is completely different, it being a Mazda lump in the Probe, this being at Ford design duratec.

Good luck, and post pictures!

i will be posting picks all going well, going to be traveling 160miles in the c8 tommorow with 6 kids in the back so i do hope luck is on my side

i have been reading some of the other posts just hope this guy is hounest as he sounds, he says he has had 3 cougars and has quite few spares he will throw in as well. he is selling it as he needs an estate for work
dont think this one has leather seats so it does not have the x pack are parts hard to get a hold off?

SCOTFEST is a cougar meet. A few of us get together at ShellBay Caravan and Campsite at Elie usually around the middle of April for three nights. It is an ideal place for a meet as there is plenty to do in the East Neuk of Fife and the site has it's own Restaurant, Bar, Social Club, Takeaway, Kids play area etc. I will be posting a thread for this in a few weeks time.

Definately! What are they?

Lion Rampant - Scottish Royal flag. It predates the Saltire (St Andrew's Cross) and was the sign of the Scottish Monarch prior to invasion by the English. Strictly speaking it should only be flown by the monarch, but many just regard it as a second flag of Scotland.

I just cringe when I see stickers on cars in general, but wherever you go there's always someone who feels the need to tell you where they're from whether it's these, the Saltire, St George Cross or Welsh dragon stickers. Who gives a toss?
