Hi folks going up north to look at cougar tommorow

I've worked with several Scottish lads during my career and the overwhelming majoity of them have the backs of their cars plastered to varying extents with stickers proclaiming "I'm SCOTTISH, by the way!". It only usually seems to be Scottish people that do this (I've never once seen an English sticker other than the St. George's cross on my own number plates), along with the odd Welshman or Cornish (Corn?) lad with the Kernow sticker.
 
Maybe it's folk feeling homesick Rich, cos there are plenty English and Welsh do it here. The Welsh do it at home too mind... every time we travel the M50 / A449 you can tally up a few dragons on the way.
 
i usually change my reg plates on any car i have to display the saltire,thats to do when i used to drive abroad though
 
stickers will be coming off if i can get them off job for the sommer if we get one lol

im working friday to monday tuesday wednesday thursday off this now so cant wait till next tuesday see what magic macquires can do
 
the car only came with one key can i go to a locksmiths and get a normal key made?? the one i have does have 3 buttons on it

Use a hairdryer or cool heat gun to soften the glue. There is always a risk of Laquer damage if they are really old stickers.

Thanks for the Lion Rampant image Jamie, i couldn't make it out on the car photo OFS/false choppers/contact lenses/ all i need now is a stick and i've got the full set :)
 
i been doing some cheaks on it today and is seems to have had some neglect from the last owner needed to put a 1ltr of oil in it and the rear tyres had next to no preasure in them
need to get it in for a service asap
it still has the orignal ht leads on it from 1999 i would have though they should have been replaced by know?
need to get it just in running order this know and will then start working on it over the summer getting it undersealed calipers painted etc lots planned
how much are decent set of ht leads for the cougar?
