Hmm copper or chrome

Mike, if I may, those wheels like Al's, IMHO, only work in silver on a silver car. Not a wheel I've really liked but I think works on Al's car well. Your original wheels look awesome as they are, they really really do!! Please don't copper them

I agree with this 90%, the 10% being the bit about not liking them :D. I've seen the wolfie warriors (my wheels) in black and imo they just don't do it!

Lol!! Al might want spares :)

erm, no i don't :p

Lol, he might want some more! He's built a bigger shed don't ya know

Bigger shed, but that's for Vonny :D

Copper paint some stock rims!! The perfect answer! No worries if they get battered and you get to see the effect in person :)

Is Vonny not allowed in the house any more Alan....................

Part of the photoshop Paul, had to stick 'em in as it didn't look right with loads of black behind the new wheels!
maybe I did make them a little too big!!

Bugger, I thought it was something else that I had to put on a to do list. Colour suited I think but just not on those wheels, again only my opinion.

I think that the real problems with the copper wheels is that they are on their own and look out of place, maybe if some other parts were matching, it could work, the red calipers don't help either or the lights, I would leave it as it is as it's a looker, the only ebony that I have seen that would give mine a run for it's money in the shiney stakes

Just to revive an old thread, finally got the wheels refurbed in silver and to be honest i dont like them on my car - so i am still wondering what if anything to do with my cat.

Then decided to have a go with my spare wheel it was a bit tatty and has a chunk out of it but it gives me an idea what they would look like

Also tried painting a piece of chrome strip that goes round the windows and i must admit it came out very good-the copper paint is very shiney and mettallic and the pics do not really do it justice.
Now my dilema is if i go ahead there is no going back :censored:

Honestly! I prefer the silver, but then i would wouldn't i . If i didn't have my warriors, i'd be encouraging you to go copper just so i could nab the silver rims off you, imo, they look gorgeous Mikey.
I like the wheels, but not the colour against black, just my 2p mate, but as we all say, "it's your choice" go for what you feel is right (y)

In all honesty I like the copper over black, but I agree with RichB - and what you said at Daves - that it needs some accents elsewhere to bind it together.
