Hi, why not start a new thread in the new owners section letting us know who you are? Welcome to the club

Well, you will get plenty of inspiration and ideas here mate. If you subscribe to the forum - 18 quid per year - you will gain access to all areas and get even more inspiration. Welcome to the home of the Cougar by the way.

Hi guys, its a new boy here, want to make contact with cat lovers, a few problems with my cougar so i thought i would scan the internet and try to find parts for 1998 cougar 2.5 v6 and found this link, don't know why i didn't try to look for owners club in the first place, having difficulty in working out how to enter and post on this site, being a certified dimwit i though i might fit in hereo_O so if anybody can lead me (a) to find my way around the site, and (b) where i can get a wishbone, front nearside, i would be grateful.
I live in the Republic of Ireland and can't find any one who can supply or even knows what it is  so look forward to your suggestions, and thanks in advance, Badger

re the wishbones they are around but are not the same as MK2 mondeo's which are cheap and easy to find replace, they tend to be £130 to £150 a side with the bolts, last generally about 8-10 years or so, will see if i can find a link for some, the difference in price between main dealers and spares places is little and you may as well fit originals for the difference in price

Hey guys, Must admit brought mine of ebay, never even heard of the car before but I absolutely love it. Assumed there would be some sort of owners club and hey presto!

Hi all

I was a lurking member a few years ago and now I've returned.

99 V6 frosty on drive with a couple of mods.

Hope to see some of you at Tatton Park as I live in Stockport.

Web search - I thought I actually was a member from years ago, but apparently not...

Indeed you were :) I remember the name and is it a black cougar iirc? The forum purges inactive users after set amounts of time depending on their status so that's likely the reason.

an old racing mate of mine heard that i was after a new cougar and found this site and informed me.had i of thought i could of tried a search engine for owners clubs but in the past i have looked at owners clubs for cars and bikes that ive owned and found them to be rubbish. This one looks good.

Hej guys, i finally found a bunch of weirdo's into a great car as the cougar is :) we actually don't have any club whatsoever in Holland supporting the cougar :( even the standard ford forum doesn't have a cougar section... so i seeked abroad and found you guys after talking to a fanatic in england - Harwich!

I came across the forum a good few years ago when I bought my first Cougar (around 2003) but never took it any further back then but more recently saw the group at this year's Ford Fair and thought it would be a good idea to join...particularly as I am keen to modify my current Cougar (which I couldn't really afford to do with my first one).
