Hubs help

IIRC ford drive flanges are thicker where the stud is positioned drilling offset holes would severly damage the integrity of the drive flange. You could have bespoke drive flanges turned but it would cost a small fortune for a one off jig.

As said before mate alot of stress goes through the hubs during changes of speed and lateral movement that's why mine took so long to do I suggest you look online which cars run the pcd you want them look at photos VIA Google of the hubs and this will narrow down what might start to work on your car then track down any sellers online (I used eBay mainly) who are flogging these then ask questions about hub dimensions spindle sizes etc until you've got one that works or at least looks close to it.

I hope this helps mate

Thanks again for all the comments, this is why I initially said about the Probe PCD over the Mondeo.
I'm going to ask the same question on the Probe owners club site and see if between there and here, we can find if it's possible :)

Unless anyone knows of a nice wheel available in 8.5x18 ET23 & 10x18 ET35??

By the way, all this effort is for this car

:)

That car just defies description, a car fit to sit and look at ...although from this angle, it looks like they borrowed Si's old Scoobie spoiler to mould the rear panels :bomb:

If you can't suss it I'll have your engine off you!!.:p;)

To be fair, the engine wouldn't be that expensive to replace. All Noble did was take a standard Mondeo 3ltr V6 and fitted shorter con rods. The manifolds crack and many owners replace them with stainless versions but the standard ones can be re-welded. You could find many pairs in people's garages.

Now whether it would all fit...... :)

Well yes that's true, the turbos can be whatever spec you like though. I was just explaining what you'd need to do to a standard engine if you had one kicking around :)

god man... don't feed Mark ideas like that.. He will be outside with a tape measure as we speak seeing if he can ram it all under the bonnet!

ford run 4x108 and so do citroen and peugeot. the difference is ford tent to run an offset of between 30 and 50 and the french run more like 15-20 on the offset. maybe jus get some 4 stud french wheels?

looking through your posts it seems an 18" set of rims that are peu/cit fit would be in the right ball park for the offset you need. its just they wont be wider front to rear... BMW? theyre the same 5 stud as the later fords IIRC and tend to be wider at the rear then you could jus use 5x108
